Empowered by the Michigan Mental Health Code and appointed by the Commissioners of Manistee and Benzie Counties to govern the Manistee-Benzie Community Mental Health Services Organization, which provides services and supports to residents who are severely and persistently mentally ill or developmentally disabled.
