An authority organized pursuant to the Michigan Land Bank Fast Track Act and an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Michigan Land Bank Fast Track Authority and the Treasurer of the County of Benzie, Michigan.

Mission Statement

The Benzie County Land Bank Authority strives to promote county-wide economic development through consistent and transparent collaboration with local organizations by acquiring, remediating and disposing of properties posing as liabilities to the community.

Land Bank Authority Projects

 For Sale:

There are no real views on the property. There is a two track to the East that crosses state land. A power line runs through the West side of the property. There is a pretty steep slope that runs East to West about midway through the property. The LBA is keeping the North 5 acres with the pole barn on it. I will be updating the RFP on the website for the Dec 20, 2017 deadline when I have the information available. Land to the East and South are State owned to the river and beyond. The manufactured home to the West is not a part of the property.
